The Winter Warmth Project is an annual community initiative presented by The Healing Canvas Experience, created to bring warmth, comfort, dignity, and hope to individuals and families who may be facing the challenges of the winter season.

Our Goal
100 Winter Warmth Packages
For our 2026 Winter Warmth Project, our goal is to provide 100 Winter Warmth Packages to members of our community. Each package is designed to provide essential winter items that help someone feel cared for, prepared, and remembered during the colder months.
We are collecting new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and blankets in all sizes for men and women.

A Day of Warmth, Creativity & Community
The Winter Warmth Experience
On November 7, 2026, The Healing Canvas Experience will bring the Winter Warmth Project to the DuPont Environmental Education Center in Wilmington, Delaware for a day centered around community, compassion, and giving.
Guests will have the opportunity to come together, connect with their community, and participate in the distribution of Winter Warmth Packages created through the generosity of donors and community supporters.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where people don't simply receive a donation—they experience care, dignity, connection, and community.

A Day of Warmth, Creativity & Community
On November 7, 2026, The Healing Canvas Experience will bring the Winter Warmth Project to the DuPont Environmental Education Center for an afternoon centered around warmth, creativity, connection, and community.
Guests will be invited to create, connect, and enjoy the experience together while we celebrate the spirit of giving.
Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to:
☕ Visit our Hot Chocolate Station — enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate with delicious toppings and cozy winter treats.
🎨 Decorate Your Own Mug — get creative and personalize a mug to take home as a special reminder of the day.
🔑 Create a Custom Keychain — design a personalized keychain using colorful charms, letters, and meaningful pieces.
🍽️ Enjoy Food & Refreshments — food and refreshments will be available for guests to enjoy throughout the experience.
🧥 Experience the Winter Warmth Distribution — connect with community members and participate in the distribution of Winter Warmth Packages filled with essential winter items.
Most importantly, this gathering is about creating a space where people can feel welcomed, connected, and cared for.
The Winter Warmth Experience is more than a donation drive.
It's a day to create something beautiful, share something warm, and remind one another that community still cares.
